Cloperastine hydrochloride 20 mg/5 ml

Qualitative and quantitative composition:

Each 5 ml of suspension contains

Active substance:

Cloperastine fendisoate 35.4 mg (equivalent to 20 mg of cloperastine hydrochloride)

Excipients:

Methyl parahydroxybenzoate, propyl parahydroxybenzoate, xanthan gum, microcrystalline cellulose and carmellose sodium (591), sorbitol (70%), glycerin, poloxamer (type 407), sucralose, carmoisine red, raspberry flavour, purified water.

Dosage form

Oral suspension.

Physical characteristics: opaque pink suspension with a sweet raspberry flavour.

Cough medicine.

Method of administration and doses

Dosage

Adults: 5 ml three times a day.

Children

From 2 to 4 years: 2 ml twice a day; From 4 to 7 years: 3 ml twice a day; From 7 to 15 years: 5 ml twice a day.

Duration of treatment: 7 days.
