Properties: Phytopreparation that promotes the disintegration and removal of kidney stones and urinary tract stones. Terpenes, such as borneol, undergo metabolic changes and are excreted in the urine, mainly in the form of glucuronides, which increases the solubility of calcium salts, which are the main components of kidney stones and urinary tract stones. In experimental studies, the inhibitory effect of Rowatinex on the formation of kidney stones and urinary tract stones was established. Urinex has an antispasmodic effect, promotes the passage of stones through the urinary tract, reduces pain in renal and ureteral colic, increases renal blood flow, improves kidney function and increases diuresis. The drug has anti-inflammatory action, antimicrobial action (in relation to a number of gram-positive and gram-negative microorganisms), increases the content of protective colloids in the urine and increases the content of glucuronic acid in the urine.

Indications:

– urolithiasis (nephrolithiasis, urolithiasis);

-prevention of the formation of stones in the kidneys and urinary tract.

Dosage and administration: Adults: appoint 1 caps 3 times / day, before meals.

Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug. With caution, the drug should be prescribed while taking oral anticoagulants and drugs that are predominantly metabolized in the liver.

Precautionary measures: Urinex is not recommended for severe renal colic, anuria or severe urinary tract infection. During treatment, fluid intake should be increased. Side effects: From the digestive system: rarely – mild and transient discomfort in the stomach; very rarely – vomiting. Other: Intolerance to the drug was observed in 2 patients (cause unknown).
